As a fine art photographer and architect, Mercedes Guerric explores the Fench concept of “Terroir”. Born in Puerto Rico, she has been a resident in France for many years, where she was involved in the historic preservation of a Renaissance hotel particuliere in the historic district of St. Germain-en-Laye. She restored this building to its original state. Guerric has taught design and architectural history at the school of Architecture, Polytechnic University in Puerto Rico. She has taken part in public art projects. Guerric earned a B.Arch from Catholic University in Washington D.C., and a Master’s in Historic Preservation from the University of Texas at Saint Antonio.
